# Entities

Database verification allows you to verify entity, or company, information against registries and commercial data sources, through our verification engine, without requiring them to provide additional documents.

The following information is available for matching:

#### Entity Information

* Legal entity name
* Registration number
* Registered country

Once the entity's information has been matched and verified, you will receive a webhook as normal, or you can use the [retrieving-entity-verification-results](https://manual.personr.co/api-documentation/entity-results/retrieving-entity-verification-results "mention") endpoint to retrieve the result.
